SIX Dashboard

To reach the Dashboard from any place within SIX you can: press Alt-D on your Keyboard, use the left sidebar entry "Dashboard", or click on your company logo on the top menu bar.

Widgets

A variety of widgets is provided on your default dashboard. Not all widgets are commonly enabled, as this depends largely on your access rights to the data entity in question. There are 5 main widget categories:

  1. Single Datapoint Widget
  2. Overview Widgets
  3. Graph Widgets
  4. Activity Widgets
  5. Helper Widgets

Arranging and Re-arranging Widgets

Widgets can be dragged from one place to another by keeping the left mouse button pressed right over the  icon, which can be found on the left hand side of each widget.

Widgetable Area

Widgets can be placed within pre-defined widget containers. The overall layout is as follows:

Generically any widget can be dragged into any container, however, this might not be a preferable action. In each container multiple widgets can be placed. Even though you can, doesn't mean you should. Please keep your dashboards tidy.
Widgets locations are stored automatically when you drop a widget. If you need to reset all widgets to their default location, please click on  in the top right corner to open the Dashboard Options Menu.

Enabling/Disabling Widgets

Open the Dashboard Options Menu. Within the dialogue you can enable and disable widgets which are not useful for your day-to-day work.

All changes are stored automatically. After enabling or disabling a widget you might need to re-arrange other widgets within the same container group.
